I’m Andre Spruell, host of Middle of the Fence, a podcast that explores life between Tough Terrain and Affluent Acres. As a Black American and Argentinian, I grew up in a high-crime neighborhood while attending private school in a wealthy county, learning to navigate two contrasting worlds—an experience that shaped my perspective on identity, privilege, and resilience. I’m a proud Wilkes University alum (Class of 2018) with 5+ years of corporate experience in marketing, operations, and customer service. With a background in media, marketing, and communications, I bring a unique lens to conversations about cultural, social, and economic divides. When I’m not working, you can find me listening to records, reading a good book, or attending live concerts and sporting events. Join me as I bridge the gap between both sides of the fence.
